Out of my January reads, each book held up on its own and were memorable in their own ways. The books that really stood out to me the most were A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows, A Kingdom of Blood and Betrayal and The Serpent and the Wings of Night. They featured strong female leads and very broody, protective men. Neon Gods and The Hades Trials helped me get back into reading so Hades and Persephone will have a special place in my heart. And just a quick side note, all of these do have spice in them!

In a reading slump? I recommend A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows, The Hades Trials, These Hollow Vows and The Serpent and the Wings of Night.
